If you are missing a companion or have found someone's missing pet, need to make a complaint or speak to the Animal Control Officer for any reason, please call 622-2800 (leave a message if there is no answer, our officer will return your call as quickly as possible). If you feel it is an emergency, you may contact Weber Dispatch center at 629-8221 for immediate assistance. If you are looking for a companion animal to adopt, please let our officer know what you are looking for at 622-2800 and they can help assist you in finding the perfect companion for adoption.
Residents of South Ogden City are allowed up to 2 adult (4 months and older) dogs and up to 3 adult cats. Dog licenses are required within 10 days of new pet ownership, new resident of South Ogden City or your dog reaching rabies vaccination age of 4 months. Proof of rabies vaccination by licensed veterinarian is required to purchase a pet license and proof of spay/neuter by licensed veterinarian is required to receive the discount license price. License fees are $24.00 per year for unaltered dog, $12.00 for altered dog, Senior (55+) rates are $20.00 (unaltered) $7.00 (altered) late fees begin March 1st for all unlicenced dogs. Lifetime licenses are also available; $75.00 or  $20.00 for seniors.
