If you are missing a companion or have found someone's missing pet, need to make a complaint or speak to the Animal Control Officer for any reason, please call 622-2800 (leave a message if there is no answer, our officer will return your call as quickly as possible). Residents of South Ogden City are allowed up to 2 adult (4 months and older) dogs and up to 3 adult cats. Dog licenses are required within 10 days of new pet ownership, new resident of South Ogden City or your dog reaching rabies vaccination age of 4 months. Proof of rabies vaccination by licensed veterinarian is required to purchase a pet license and proof of spay/neuter by licensed veterinarian is required to receive the discount license price. License fees are $24.00 per year for unaltered dog, $12.00 for altered dog, Senior (55+) rates are $20.00 (unaltered) $7.00 (altered) late fees begin March 1st for all unlicenced dogs. Lifetime licenses are also available; $75.00 or  $20.00 for seniors.
